Welcome to my online portfolio! This website displays a large selection of my work to date. There are a large selection of photos in the Gallery, ranging from Airshows, and Airbase visits, to Warbirds and trips to Civil Airports. Hopefully everyone will find something to their taste here. You will also find that most photos on this site can be purchased if you so wish.

I try to keep my site visitor friendly, so please leave a comment in the Guestbook to let me know what you think.

You might be wondering why my site is titled Rama Photography? My first photos published were of a pair of B-1B Lancers departing RAF Mildenhall in January 2009, under the callsign of RAMA. This was the start of my photography “career”, and the name seemed appropriate.

If you are interested in starting Aviation Photography, or just want to know more, there are links to several forums in the Links page. I thoroughly recommend all of these, they are what introduced me to the hobby.

Home to the Royal Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition and Reconnaissance (ISTAR) fleet, Waddington is a great place for photos. It even sports a custom built viewing area!
RAF Valley RAF Valley

Photos from my rare visits to RAF Valley, which will occur when I visit friends in Wales. RAF Valley is the base for RAF Fast Jet Training, and is home to Hawk T.1 and T.2 aircraft, as well as AW.139, Griffin T.1 and Sea King HAR.3 helicopters.

East Midlands is the nearest airport to me in Loughborough, only a 20 minute bus journey away. Some interesting movements pass through here, although it is mainly only the cargo ones that interest me. This portfolio will hopefully grow slowly as I make more visits.
